You may be locking yourself into a very expensive future by buying an Adobe collection like this, if you're not allowed to upgrade individual parts of the software. I bought Adobe's Master Collection CS3 two years ago, and the only parts I was interested in upgrading were Dreamweaver and Fireworks. I paid $199 for the Dreamweaver CS5 upgrade, assuming I could upgrade from Dreamweaver CS3 which is part of my Master Collection. But after downloading and installing the software, and entering my Master Collection CS3 serial number, I received an error that my serial number was not valid. I contacted Adobe about this, thinking it was just a bug on their end... but I was wrong. I was told I must either buy Dreamweaver CS5 for the full price of $399 (essentially meaning my prior purchase of CS3 means nothing to them), and that the cheapest upgrade I was eligible for was Design Standard ($799). I was told this is Adobe's policy, and not a bug. So imagine that - buying Adobe's most expensive package will actually LIMIT what you are able to upgrade. If I had known this I would have bought individual software titles from the start.
